PHD Machining – Full-Time
PHD Machining is seeking a senior-level CNC Lathe Machinist who can program, set up, and run precision parts with minimal supervision. If you can take a print and deliver quality parts on time, we want you on our team.
What You’ll Do
- Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes
- Write and edit G-code at the machine
- Read complex blueprints and GD&T
- Select tooling, set offsets, and optimize cycle times
- Hold tight tolerances and ensure first-pass quality
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years CNC lathe experience
- Strong CNC programming skills
- Expert blueprint reading and GD&T
- Ability to work independently from print to part

Ability to communicate effectively and meet deadlines
Nice to Have
- Live tooling / Y-axis experience
- Aerospace or high-precision machining background
